Job Description
Are you an energetic and enthusiastic individual looking for a fast-paced role where no two days are the same? Greggs in Spinningfields is seeking a Quick Service Aide to join our bustling team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, interacting with customers, and contributing to a friendly and efficient service environment. You’ll be involved in a wide range of tasks, from serving delicious food to maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders, offering recommendations when appropriate.
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverage items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Operate till systems, handle cash and card transactions accurately, and maintain till security.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the shop floor, food preparation areas, and seating areas.
- Restock shelves, displays, and fridges, ensuring products are fresh and attractively presented.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and cash reconciliation.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Handle customer queries and feedback professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Adhere to all food safety and health and safety regulations.
