Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physiotherapy Aide to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is perfect for someone passionate about healthcare and eager to contribute to a professional private practice. As a Physiotherapy Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting our physiotherapists and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. You will assist with patient care, maintain equipment, and help create a welcoming and efficient environment for all our clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a clinical setting and develop foundational skills in the physiotherapy field.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physiotherapists with patient preparation and treatment setup.
- Guide patients through prescribed exercises under the direct supervision of a physiotherapist.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms and equipment.
- Prepare treatment areas, including setting up modalities and exercise equipment.
- Manage linen and laundry duties.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, answer phones, and manage front desk operations as needed.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patients.
- Order and restock supplies, maintaining inventory.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, record-keeping, and data entry.
- Provide general support to physiotherapists and other clinic staff.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite).

Preferred Qualifications

- First Aid and CPR certification.
