Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for pharmacy management software systems via phone, email, and remote access.
  • Diagnose, resolve, and escalate software issues, hardware compatibility problems, and network connectivity challenges for pharmacy clients.
  • Document all support interactions, resolutions, and follow-up actions accurately in the ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development and product management, to address pervasive issues and improve software functionality.
  • Assist with software installations, configurations, and updates for new and existing clients.
  • Conduct user training and create support documentation to empower clients with self-service solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends, software updates, and best practices in pharmacy technology.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience with IT support or technical customer service.
  • Strong understanding of software applications and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with pharmacy software systems (e.g., RxConnect, EPS, QS/1).
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or other relevant IT certifications.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare IT setting.
