Job Description
CVS Health is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Pharmacy Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. In this 100% written support role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers regarding their pharmacy inquiries, medication orders, benefits, and general questions. You will communicate exclusively through digital channels such as secure messaging, chat, and email, providing clear, concise, and accurate information. This role requires exceptional written communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences, all from the comfort of your home office. This is a 100% remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding prescriptions, medication status, insurance benefits, and general pharmacy services via written channels (chat, email, secure messaging).
- Provide accurate and helpful information, resolving customer issues efficiently and effectively.
- Document all customer interactions and resolutions accurately in the company's CRM system.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff and other internal departments to resolve complex customer issues when necessary.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy in all written communications.
- Continuously learn and stay updated on pharmacy procedures, products, and services.

- Proficiency in typing and navigating multiple computer systems simultaneously.

- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare or pharmacy setting.
- Experience in a customer service role, particularly with written support channels.
- Familiarity with medical terminology or pharmacy software.
- Associate's degree or higher.
- Pharmacy Technician certification (not required, but a plus).
