Job Description
Join the Four Seasons team as a Part-time Resort Host, focusing on weekend vacation activities. In this role, you will be the heart of our guest experience during the most vibrant times, ensuring all weekend recreational activities run smoothly and guests have an unforgettable stay. You’ll engage with guests, facilitate activity sign-ups, provide information, and maintain a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. This position is perfect for an energetic individual passionate about hospitality and creating joy for others.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests and assist with inquiries regarding weekend activities and resort amenities.
- Manage activity sign-ups, reservations, and payment processing efficiently and accurately.
- Proactively engage with guests to promote various recreational offerings, including family programs, fitness classes, and outdoor adventures.
- Prepare activity areas and equipment, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and readiness for guest use.
- Provide clear and concise information about activity schedules, rules, and necessary equipment.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve minor issues promptly and courteously, escalating as needed.
- Collaborate with other resort departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all resort services, local attractions, and events.
Required Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., booking systems, Microsoft Office).
- Customer service orientation with a genuine desire to assist guests.
- Reliability and flexibility to work weekends and some holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or resort activities.
- Knowledge of local attractions and recreational opportunities in Thousand Oaks.
- Fluency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish).
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
