Job Description

Google is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Online Maps Research Consultant to join our dynamic team. This entry-level, 100% remote position is open to candidates across all states within the US, allowing you to contribute to the accuracy and quality of Google Maps from your home. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough research using various online sources and internal tools to verify and update geographic data, points of interest, and addresses.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, errors, and outdated information within Google Maps, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Accurately input and update map data following established guidelines and quality standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback on data collection processes and tools to foster continuous improvement in efficiency and accuracy.
  • Adhere strictly to quality assurance protocols and data integrity policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex data issues and contribute to broader mapping initiatives.
  • Stay updated on geographic changes, local customs, and new trends relevant to mapping products and user experience.

Required Skills
