Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Nutrition & Recipe Annotator to join our remote team within the Health Sector. This is a crucial role for individuals passionate about nutrition, food science, and data accuracy. You will be responsible for meticulously reviewing, categorizing, and annotating a vast database of recipes and food items, ensuring high-quality data that powers our cutting-edge health and wellness platforms. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from home while contributing to a healthier world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately annotate and categorize recipes, ingredients, and food items based on established nutritional guidelines and company standards.
  • Extract key data points from recipes, including nutritional information, dietary restrictions, preparation methods, and ingredient lists.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of annotated data across various platforms.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, nutritionists, and product teams to refine annotation guidelines and processes.
  • Conduct quality checks on existing data to maintain high standards.
  • Stay updated on nutritional science and dietary trends to inform annotation decisions.
  • Identify and report discrepancies or issues in data sources.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of nutrition principles and dietary guidelines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in data entry and annotation tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
