Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Liaison with a strong healthcare marketing focus to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves bridging the gap between clinical services and community outreach, ensuring seamless patient transitions and promoting Memorial Hospital’s comprehensive care offerings. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of patient needs, clinical processes, and effective communication strategies to foster strong relationships with referral sources and enhance our market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, and community organizations to facilitate patient referrals.
- Act as a primary contact for referring providers, ensuring clear communication regarding patient care plans and services.
- Conduct presentations and educational sessions to promote Memorial Hospital's specialties and services to external stakeholders.
- Identify market trends and opportunities for program development and service expansion based on community needs.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to create compelling collateral and outreach strategies.
- Assess patient needs and provide clinical guidance to referring providers when appropriate.
- Facilitate smooth patient transitions from referring facilities to Memorial Hospital, ensuring continuity of care.
- Track and analyze referral data to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Represent Memorial Hospital at community events, health fairs, and professional conferences.
Required Skills
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Mississippi.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Proven experience in a liaison, marketing, or business development role within healthcare.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field.
- Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Marketing.
- Experience with CRM software and healthcare analytics.
