Job Description
Are you a night owl looking for a dynamic role with excellent earning potential? Greggs in Chapel Allerton, Leeds, is seeking dedicated and reliable Night Shift Fast Food Staff to join our bustling team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work during the quieter hours, ensuring our store is perfectly prepared for the next day’s customers. You will play a crucial role in baking, food preparation, cleaning, and restocking, all while enjoying a high night premium pay for your commitment to our overnight operations. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a wide range of products including savouries, sandwiches, and sweet treats according to Greggs' standards.
- Ensure all food preparation and handling adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Manage stock rotation and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the entire shop, including kitchen, service areas, and equipment.
- Assist with deliveries, restocking shelves, and ensuring the store is fully prepped for morning trade.
- Work collaboratively with the night shift team to achieve operational goals.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Reliability and punctuality, especially for night shifts.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene.
- Good physical stamina, capable of standing for long periods and lifting.
- Basic understanding of food safety principles (training will be provided).
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fast-paced food service or retail environment.
- Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2).
- Experience working night shifts.
