Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Medical Device Kitting Assistant to join our clean room assembly team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing, assembling, and packaging medical device components within a strictly controlled clean room environment. Adherence to all quality standards, safety protocols, and detailed work instructions is paramount. This position is crucial to ensuring the highest quality of our life-saving products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform precise kitting and assembly of medical device components according to detailed work instructions and blueprints.
- Maintain strict adherence to clean room protocols, including gowning procedures and contamination control.
- Inspect components for quality defects and non-conformance, escalating issues as necessary.
- Document all work performed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Operate various small hand tools, fixtures, and semi-automated equipment for assembly processes.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge of medical device assembly.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and comprehend detailed work instructions, drawings, and procedures in English.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work effectively in a clean room environment, including wearing required clean room attire.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role, preferably within a regulated industry (e.g., medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace).
- Experience working in a clean room environment.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
