Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Media Tagging Associate to join our remote team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the discoverability and user experience of Netflix content by accurately tagging and categorizing a wide array of media assets. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to one of the world’s most innovative entertainment platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately apply predefined tags and metadata to various media assets, including films, TV series, documentaries, and specials.
- Categorize content based on genre, themes, mood, tone, and specific narrative elements to improve searchability and recommendation algorithms.
- Ensure consistency and quality of tagging across all assigned content, adhering to established guidelines and standards.
- Identify and escalate any discrepancies or ambiguities in content information or tagging rules.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new tagging protocols, tools, and content types.
- Collaborate with content operations and data science teams to refine tagging taxonomies and improve data quality.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong understanding of film and television genres, tropes, and narrative structures.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and web-based tools.
