Job Description

Microsoft is seeking a motivated Junior Product Manager to join our innovative team in Davenport, Iowa. In this role, you will work closely with senior product managers, engineering teams, and designers to support the development and launch of next-generation AI-powered SaaS products. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the discovery, analysis, and definition of product requirements for new features and enhancements within AI/SaaS products.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the AI and SaaS landscape.
- Support the creation and maintenance of product roadmaps and backlogs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure clear communication of product specifications and timely delivery.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback to iterate on product improvements.
- Help monitor product performance metrics and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
- Assist in preparing product launch materials and internal communications.
- Learn and apply agile product development methodologies.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycles.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or project experience in product management, business analysis, or software development.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience with data analysis tools or market research techniques.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Understanding of UX/UI principles.
