Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team in Albuquerque, NM. This role is perfect for an individual with foundational development skills eager to specialize in applications leveraging Google’s vast ecosystem. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack solutions with a strong emphasis on integrating with various Google services and APIs, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Workspace APIs. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior developers and product managers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure full-stack applications using modern web technologies.
- Design, implement, and test integrations with various Google APIs and services, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and incorporating suggestions from peers.
- Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving application issues across different environments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging Google technologies, cloud trends, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with at least one front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Experience with at least one back-end language/framework (e.g., Node.js with Express, Python with Django/Flask, Java with Spring Boot, or C# with ASP.NET Core).
- Familiarity with relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Firestore).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and data exchange formats (JSON, XML).
- Basic understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (e.g., Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage).
- Proficient with version control systems, especially Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship or project experience specifically working with Google APIs (e.g., Maps API, Calendar API, Drive API) or advanced GCP services.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
