Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior AI Model Trainer (Entry-Level Assistant) to join our cutting-edge AI team. In this 100% remote role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the intelligence and behavior of Non-Player Characters (NPCs) within virtual environments. You will work closely with our AI Engineers and Game Designers to train, evaluate, and fine-tune AI models, ensuring our NPCs exhibit realistic, engaging, and dynamic behaviors. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about artificial intelligence and its application in interactive experiences, with a focus on practical model training and data annotation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the annotation, labeling, and curation of data sets used for training AI models.
- Execute pre-defined training pipelines for various AI models, including reinforcement learning and behavioral trees.
- Evaluate AI model performance and identify areas for improvement, reporting findings to senior team members.
- Collaborate with AI Engineers to implement minor adjustments to training parameters and data inputs.
- Document training processes, model performance metrics, and data curation guidelines.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings, contributing to discussions on AI development.
- Help develop and maintain high-quality datasets for diverse NPC behaviors.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of machine learning or artificial intelligence concepts.
- Familiarity with data annotation and labeling tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Game Development, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
- Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Python) for data processing or task automation.
- Demonstrated interest in video games and NPC behavior.
- Previous experience with AI/ML platforms or tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).
