Job Description
As a Restaurant Crew member at Panera Bread, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing our delicious menu items. This role involves working in a dynamic environment, handling various tasks from taking orders and preparing food to maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere. We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about food and people, ready to contribute to a positive dining experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders.
- Prepare food items, including salads, sandwiches, and bakery products, according to Panera Bread's quality standards.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms.
- Replenish food supplies, condiments, and other items as needed.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setup and breakdown of stations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Required Skills
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
