Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Hotel Public Area Cleaner to join our dedicated housekeeping team. As a Public Area Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the pristine appearance and cleanliness of all public spaces within our hotel, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for our guests and staff. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, stairwells, elevators, and common areas.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and polish surfaces to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
- Empty waste bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Replenish supplies in public restrooms and other common areas.
- Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to established guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or unusual observations to management promptly.
- Adhere to all hotel safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
- Interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner when encountered.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
