Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
- Assist guests with luggage handling and transportation to and from their rooms.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the lobby, entrance, and other public areas.
- Deliver newspapers, mail, and other items to guest rooms as required.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down meeting rooms or event spaces.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to all hotel safety and security procedures.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage (reasonable weight).
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Basic English language proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., retail, food service) is a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge of the local Eastbourne area.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
