Job Description
As a Grocery Store Price Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring pricing accuracy across our store locations. This stable, Monday to Friday position involves verifying product prices, promotions, and displays against our system records to guarantee compliance and maintain customer trust. You will travel to various Food Lion stores within the Durham region, meticulously checking items and reporting discrepancies. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy, contributing directly to our operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily price audits across various grocery departments, comparing shelf prices with system data.
- Verify the accuracy of promotional signage, special offers, and display prices.
- Identify and report pricing discrepancies to store management and relevant departments.
- Document audit findings accurately and thoroughly using handheld devices or reporting tools.
- Ensure compliance with company pricing policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with store teams to facilitate timely correction of pricing errors.
- Maintain a professional and independent demeanor while performing audit functions.
- Provide feedback on recurring pricing issues to improve internal processes.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong observational and analytical skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with data entry.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for travel between stores).
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
