Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Google Remote Tech Associate to join our dedicated remote support team. In this 100% remote role, you will be instrumental in providing technical assistance and solutions to our internal and external users, ensuring seamless operation of Google’s diverse suite of products and services. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about technology and customer service, who are eager to learn and grow within a leading global company. All necessary equipment will be provided to ensure you have the tools for success from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support for Google products and internal systems via chat, email, and phone.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior support teams when necessary, ensuring clear documentation.
  • Assist users with account management, system configurations, and general technical inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records of all support interactions and resolutions in our CRM system.
  • Contribute to knowledge base articles and internal documentation to enhance support processes.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with Google technologies and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Chrome OS) and mobile platforms (Android, iOS).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional user experience.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a technical support, helpdesk, or customer service role.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Drive, Meet) and other Google products.
  • CompTIA A+ or similar IT certification.
  • Experience with remote diagnostic tools and support software.
