Job Description

Are you passionate about video games and have a keen eye for detail? Take-Two Interactive is seeking dedicated Game Testers to join our Quality Assurance team in Shawnee, Kansas. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and playability of our upcoming titles across various platforms. You will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs and glitches, providing critical feedback to development teams, and verifying fixes. This is an exciting opportunity to get an inside look at game development and contribute to the creation of world-class entertainment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute test plans and test cases across multiple platforms (PC, console, mobile).
  • Identify, isolate, and accurately document software defects and anomalies using bug tracking systems.
  • Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback on gameplay, features, and overall user experience.
  • Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate closely with development, design, and production teams.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of current game industry trends and best practices.
  • Adhere to strict deadlines and quality standards.

Required Skills

  • Strong passion for video games and an in-depth understanding of various genres.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex issues both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Quality Assurance or game testing role (internship or volunteer experience welcome).
  • Familiarity with bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Experience with multiple gaming platforms (PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, mobile).
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
