Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Full-time Shopify Developer to join our dynamic e-commerce team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our Shopify e-commerce platforms, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience for our customers. You will play a crucial role in building custom Shopify themes, developing new features, integrating third-party applications, and optimizing site performance. This role requires a strong understanding of Shopify best practices, front-end development, and API integrations. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes and functionality using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Implement and customize third-party Shopify apps and integrations.
- Optimize website performance, loading times, and SEO best practices.
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to translate UI/UX designs into functional, responsive web pages.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain code quality and stability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify features, trends, and best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience with Shopify theme development and customization.
- Proficiency in Liquid templating language.
- Strong command of HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS/Sass), and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with Shopify APIs (Storefront API, Admin API).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Understanding of responsive design principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Shopify Plus and headless commerce architectures.
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Knowledge of e-commerce analytics and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Prior experience in a retail or large-scale e-commerce environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
