Job Description
As a Fulfillment Picker with an Online Retail Focus, you will be a vital part of our operations, responsible for accurately and efficiently picking customer orders from shelves using handheld scanning devices. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will contribute directly to Amazon’s commitment to delivering products quickly and reliably to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Locate and pick customer orders from designated storage areas using handheld scanners.
- Ensure accuracy of picked items by verifying product codes and quantities.
- Safely and efficiently transport picked items to packing stations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
- Assist with inventory counts and restocking as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic computer literacy to operate scanning devices.
- Reliability and strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
