Job Description

As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to patients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life. Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, to patients in their homes.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Monitor and record vital signs, observe changes in patient condition, and report to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Engage patients in stimulating activities and provide companionship.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
- Document care provided accurately and timely according to established procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to prepare for Medical Assistant certification.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a caregiving role (personal or professional).
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation.
