Job Description
Join our dynamic team as an Eviction Clean-Out Crew Member, a physically demanding but highly rewarding role based in Springfield, IL. This position requires individuals who are strong, reliable, and committed to efficiently clearing out properties. You will be responsible for the safe and swift removal of unwanted items from various residential and commercial sites, ensuring properties are left clean and ready for their next phase. We offer daily pay for your hard work, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently remove furniture, appliances, debris, and other items from properties following eviction processes.
- Perform heavy lifting, carrying, and loading of items onto company vehicles.
- Sort and organize items for proper disposal, recycling, or donation, adhering to local regulations.
- Operate company vehicles safely (if applicable and qualified) to transport removed items to designated disposal sites.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly handled.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies.
Required Skills
- Ability to repeatedly lift and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs) throughout the workday.
- Proven reliability and punctuality.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Attention to detail to ensure properties are thoroughly cleared.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and endurance for demanding work.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in general labor, moving services, junk removal, or property clean-outs.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating light machinery or power tools is a plus.
