Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Digital Transcription Associates to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. This full-time position involves transcribing audio recordings into accurate text format, primarily focusing on legal, medical, or general business content. The role requires exceptional listening skills, typing speed, and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality transcriptions. With 24/7 shift options, we offer flexibility to accommodate various schedules while maintaining our commitment to delivering continuous support to our clients. You will be an integral part of a fast-paced environment, contributing to critical data processing and information management.
Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio and video recordings accurately and efficiently into text format.
- Review and edit transcribed documents for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and factual accuracy.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to data security protocols for all sensitive information.
- Manage and prioritize workload to meet established deadlines and quality standards.
- Utilize transcription software and tools effectively.
- Identify and escalate audio quality issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by providing feedback on transcription processes and tools.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Adapt to varying content types and client requirements.
Required Skills
- Excellent listening and comprehension skills.
- Proficient in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Strong typing speed (minimum 60 WPM with high accuracy).
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Word).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in transcription, data entry, or a related field.
- Familiarity with transcription software and tools.
