Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Dental Lab Plaster Caster / Technician to join our team in Niagara Falls, NY. This hands-on role is crucial to the initial stages of dental prosthetic fabrication, involving the precise pouring, trimming, and articulation of dental models from impressions. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent manual dexterity, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. You will be responsible for creating accurate stone models that serve as the foundation for various dental restorations, working closely with other technicians to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery of cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming dental impressions for quality and accuracy.
  • Precisely mix and pour dental plaster/stone into impressions to create accurate working models.
  • Trim and base models to proper specifications and articulate them correctly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all safety protocols and quality control standards.
  • Identify and report any issues with impressions or models to supervisors.
  • Organize and track cases through the plaster room, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  • Assist with other laboratory tasks as needed, contributing to overall team efficiency.
  • Adhere to production schedules and deadlines, managing time effectively.
