Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Part-time Creche Assistant to join our dedicated team. This unique opportunity is designed for individuals who are looking for flexible hours, specifically during school hours, making it ideal for parents or those with other commitments. As a Creche Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for infants and young children in our care. You will assist with daily activities, supervise playtime, and ensure the well-being and happiness of all children, fostering an atmosphere where they can explore, learn, and grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities, games, and creative play.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the creche at all times.
  • Assist with basic care routines, including feeding, diapering, and comforting children.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic environment within the creche.
  • Communicate effectively and positively with parents, guardians, and other staff members.
  • Observe and report any concerns regarding children's development or behavior to the lead staff.
  • Support the implementation of daily schedules and activities.

  • Certification in First Aid and CPR for infants and children.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basic knowledge of child development stages.
