Job Description

Are you a seasoned professional passionate about building organizational resilience and ensuring operational continuity in the face of complex challenges? SAIC is seeking a dedicated Corporate Resilience Trainer to join our team, working on a stable government contract to deliver critical training programs. As a Corporate Resilience Trainer, you will be instrumental in developing, delivering, and evaluating comprehensive training programs designed to enhance our clients’ ability to prevent, respond to, and recover from disruptions. This role focuses on preparing personnel for various scenarios, including cyberattacks, natural disasters, and operational failures, ensuring critical functions remain robust. You will work directly with government agency teams, translating complex resilience strategies into actionable training modules and exercises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and update training curricula and materials on corporate resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis management.
  • Deliver engaging and effective in-person and virtual training sessions to diverse government agency personnel, from front-line staff to senior leadership.
  • Facilitate workshops, simulations, and tabletop exercises to test and reinforce resilience plans.
  • Assess training needs and effectiveness through surveys, evaluations, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, current, and aligned with industry best practices and government regulations.
  • Provide expert guidance and consultation on resilience best practices to enhance organizational capabilities.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of training activities, participant attendance, and feedback.
  • Stay abreast of emerging threats, technologies, and methodologies in corporate resilience and security.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs related to corporate resilience, business continuity, or disaster recovery.
  • Deep understanding of resilience frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST) and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical and strategic concepts into clear, understandable training content.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CBCP, MBCP, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer).
  • Experience working with U.S. government agencies or in the defense sector.
  • Background in risk management, emergency management, or cybersecurity.
  • Master's degree in a related field.
