Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Support Coordinator with a strong focus on lead management to join our dynamic team in Calgary. In this hybrid role, you will be instrumental in supporting our sales team, ensuring a seamless and efficient lead-to-opportunity process. You will be responsible for managing and nurturing leads, coordinating sales activities, and providing administrative support to help our sales professionals achieve their targets. This position requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong understanding of sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the sales lead database, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
  • Qualify incoming leads, distribute them to the appropriate sales representatives, and track their progress.
  • Monitor lead conversion rates and identify areas for improvement in the lead management process.
  • Coordinate sales meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Prepare sales reports, presentations, and proposals as needed.
  • Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, including scheduling, data entry, and travel arrangements.
  • Act as a liaison between the sales team and other internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop and implement efficient processes for lead follow-up and tracking.
  • Respond to sales-related inquiries from customers and prospects in a timely manner.
  • Support the sales forecasting and pipeline management efforts.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in a sales support or administrative role, preferably with a focus on lead management.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience with sales automation tools.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies and processes.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and provide actionable insights.
