Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator with a strong business focus to join our team in Downtown San Antonio. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth execution and successful delivery of various business projects, from inception to completion. The Project Coordinator will support project managers and teams, track progress, manage resources, and facilitate communication across departments to meet project objectives and timelines. This position requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in planning, executing, and closing projects.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation.
- Track project progress, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate resources, including personnel and materials, to ensure timely project delivery.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, internal teams, and clients.
- Organize and attend project meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute minutes.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure compliance with financial guidelines.
- Prepare regular project status reports for management and stakeholders.
- Support the creation of presentations, proposals, and other project-related materials.
- Ensure all project activities adhere to company standards and client requirements.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination or a similar role.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven problem-solving capabilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- PMP or CAPM certification is a plus.
- Experience in a BPO or customer experience industry.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
