Job Description

Costa Coffee in Stockport is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Coffee Shop Assistant to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including expertly crafted coffees, teas, and smoothies.
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, processing payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards of the coffee shop, including equipment, counters, and dining areas.
  • Ensure all food and beverage items are stocked, rotated, and displayed attractively according to company standards.
  • Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally, always striving to ensure a positive and satisfying experience.
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company operational policies.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures of the store as required, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure seamless service and operational efficiency during peak hours.

  • Current Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
