Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to start your career in retail? Publix Super Markets, Inc. is actively seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Cashier & Front End Associate in Tallahassee, FL. This is an immediate opening and no prior experience is required! We provide comprehensive training to ensure your success. As a key member of our front-end team, you will be the face of Publix, providing exceptional service to every customer and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This is an on-site position.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions using a cash register.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision.
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, helpful service.
- Bag groceries carefully and assist customers with their purchases.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Answer customer questions and resolve concerns professionally.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those for age-restricted products.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management to ensure smooth store operations.
