Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and physically capable Carpet Fitting Offsider to join our dynamic installation team in Hialeah, FL. This is a manual, indoor role that involves assisting skilled carpet fitters with all aspects of carpet installation. Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead carpet fitters with the loading, unloading, and transportation of carpets and materials.
- Prepare work areas by clearing furniture, removing old flooring, and cleaning surfaces.
- Measure and cut carpet materials accurately under supervision.
- Lay underlay and stretch carpet using specialized tools and techniques.
- Help with trimming, seaming, and securing carpets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including disposing of waste materials.
- Handle and maintain tools and equipment responsibly.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
Required Skills
- Strong physical fitness and stamina for heavy lifting and manual labor.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
