Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Maintenance professional for a General Repair, Stable Role position in Durham, NC. This role is essential for maintaining the operational integrity and safety of our facility. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in various repair disciplines and a proactive approach to facility upkeep. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facility infrastructure and equipment.
- Execute general repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with facility components and equipment.
- Conduct inspections to identify and address potential maintenance needs proactively.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and work performed.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other team members and contractors as needed for specialized repairs.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in general facility repair and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in various environmental conditions.
- Valid driver's license.
