Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick and pull automotive parts from warehouse shelves based on order sheets.
  • Verify part numbers and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
  • Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring items are stored safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with receiving incoming shipments, checking for discrepancies, and stocking shelves.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely, such as pallet jacks, after receiving proper training.
  • Prepare orders for delivery or customer pickup, ensuring all items are properly packed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and resolve any issues.

Required Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret order forms and part numbers accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory lookup and order processing (training provided).
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or automotive environment.
  • Familiarity with automotive parts (a plus, but not required for this training position).
  • Experience operating a pallet jack or forklift (certification not required for entry).
