Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Merchandiser with a strong focus on Visual Standards to join our dynamic team in London. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all visual merchandising within the Apple Store adheres to Apple’s global brand guidelines, creating an inspiring and seamless customer experience. You will work closely with the retail leadership team to implement merchandising strategies, execute product launches, and maintain the aesthetic integrity of our product displays. This position requires an individual with a keen eye for detail, a passion for technology, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and maintain all visual merchandising standards according to Apple's global guidelines and directives.
- Ensure product displays are meticulously arranged, clean, functional, and consistently reflect the latest product lineup and promotional messaging.
- Manage the setup and refresh of product zones, promotional areas, and seasonal displays.
- Collaborate with the retail leadership and sales teams to align merchandising efforts with sales goals and customer flow.
- Conduct regular store walk-throughs to identify and address any visual merchandising inconsistencies or opportunities for improvement.
- Train and educate store teams on visual merchandising best practices and new product display guidelines.
- Provide feedback to central merchandising teams on local market nuances and implementation challenges.
- Assist with inventory management related to merchandising fixtures and display units.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in visual merchandising, retail display, or a similar role, preferably within consumer electronics or a premium retail brand.
- Demonstrable strong attention to detail and a keen aesthetic sense.
- Ability to interpret and execute complex visual merchandising guidelines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and move display fixtures.
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree or certification in Visual Merchandising, Retail Design, or a related field.
- Experience working with premium technology products.
- Familiarity with Apple products and services.
- Proven ability to influence and train others on visual standards.
