Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fleet Logistics Specialist with an Autonomous Technology focus to join our dynamic team. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to contribute to our mission from anywhere. You will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the logistics of our fleet, with a particular emphasis on integrating and supporting autonomous vehicle technologies. This position requires a keen understanding of supply chain operations, technological acumen, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a rapidly evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end logistics operations for a diverse fleet, including autonomous vehicles, ensuring optimal routing, scheduling, and deployment.
- Monitor the performance of autonomous fleet assets, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with operational protocols.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and technology teams to integrate new autonomous solutions and provide feedback on field performance.
- Develop and implement strategies for preventative maintenance and rapid response for autonomous fleet assets.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
- Liaise with external vendors and partners involved in autonomous vehicle technology and fleet maintenance.
- Ensure all fleet operations adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and relevant industry standards.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on fleet performance, autonomous vehicle uptime, and operational metrics.
- Support the training and development of field personnel regarding autonomous fleet operations and best practices.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or fleet operations.
- Demonstrated understanding of autonomous vehicle technology or advanced robotics applications.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI software).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with fleet management software and telematics systems specific to autonomous vehicles.
- Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks pertaining to autonomous vehicle deployment.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
