Job Description
Join the Amazon team as a Part-time Order Picker for our weekend morning shift. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and retrieving products from warehouse shelves, preparing them for packing and shipment to customers. This is an active, fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety and efficiency. This position offers consistent weekend morning hours, making it ideal for individuals seeking part-time work.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse inventory using handheld scanning devices.
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts or pallet jacks, if certified and required.
- Ensure product quality and integrity during the picking process.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures within the warehouse environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 49 pounds regularly.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment.
