Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Packaging Operatives to join our busy production team in St Helens. This is a fast-paced role involving simple, repetitive tasks that are crucial to our operational success. You will be responsible for ensuring products are packaged correctly and efficiently, maintaining our high standards of quality and hygiene. Ideal for individuals who thrive in a structured environment and possess excellent attention to detail, even with minimal prior experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate packaging machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load products onto the production line for packaging.
  • Inspect products for quality defects before and after packaging.
  • Label and mark packaged items accurately according to specifications.
  • Palletise and prepare finished goods for dispatch.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or product quality issues to a supervisor.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.
