Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Apple Compliance Officer with a strong regulatory focus to join our remote team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in ensuring Jabil’s operations, products, and services align with Apple’s stringent compliance requirements, industry standards, and relevant global regulations. This position requires a deep understanding of the Apple ecosystem, supply chain complexities, and regulatory frameworks impacting technology and manufacturing. You will develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies, providing expert guidance to internal stakeholders and mitigating risks effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs specific to Apple's requirements and related industry regulations.
- Monitor and interpret relevant regulatory changes and updates from Apple, communicating impacts to internal teams.
- Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure adherence to Apple's MFi (Made for iPhone/iPad/iPod) program, privacy, security, and environmental standards.
- Provide expert advice and training to product development, engineering, legal, and supply chain teams on Apple compliance matters.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Manage and respond to compliance inquiries, investigations, and remediation efforts.
- Draft and review compliance documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies for mitigation.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and their regulatory implications within the Apple ecosystem.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or legal roles within the technology or electronics manufacturing sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Apple's compliance programs (e.g., MFi, App Store guidelines, privacy policies, security protocols).
- Strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks impacting consumer electronics and software (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, RoHS, REACH, WEEE).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in compliance (e.g., CCEP, GRCA).
- Experience working with international supply chains and diverse legal jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with project management tools and GRC software.
- Master's degree or Juris Doctor (JD) is a plus.
