Job Description

Join Microsoft as a Remote Tech Associate and play a crucial role in providing essential technical support and assistance to our internal teams and clients. This is a 100% remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from your home office while contributing to cutting-edge technology solutions. We are seeking a motivated individual with a foundational understanding of Microsoft products and a passion for helping others troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. You will be instrumental in maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring a seamless experience for our users. This role includes an equipment reimbursement program to ensure you have the necessary tools for success in your remote setup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Microsoft software, hardware, and services via various channels (chat, email, phone).
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
  • Document all support interactions and resolutions accurately in our CRM system.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or specialized teams as needed.
  • Assist with onboarding and setup of new user accounts and devices.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a knowledge base for common technical solutions.
  • Stay updated on new Microsoft products, services, and technologies.
  • Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) for response and resolution times.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
