Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Salesforce Technical Architect to join our dynamic team in Cardiff. This role is crucial for designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions that meet our clients’ evolving business needs. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the Salesforce platform, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of leading successful technical projects. As a Technical Architect, you will be responsible for defining technical solutions, guiding development teams, and ensuring the scalability and maintainability of Salesforce implementations. This position offers sponsorship for eligible candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and architecture of complex Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and best practices.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that leverage the Salesforce platform and ecosystem.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, overseeing code quality and ensuring adherence to architectural standards.
- Conduct technical reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide recommendations for system optimization and performance improvements.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality Salesforce implementations.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, new features, and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and integration strategies.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect or similar senior role.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and other core Salesforce products.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, and SOQL/SOSL.
- Experience with Salesforce integration patterns and tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Salesforce APIs, custom integrations).
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce security model, data model, and declarative configuration.
- Proven ability to lead technical design sessions and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or multiple advanced Salesforce certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other Salesforce clouds like Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, or Einstein Analytics (Tableau CRM).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for Salesforce (e.g., Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset).
- Experience working in a consulting environment with diverse clients.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
