Job Description
Join Cargill’s dynamic team in Red Deer as an Entry-Level Factory Production Worker. This full-time role involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, contributing to the production process of high-quality food products. We are looking for motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within our company. This position requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support our continuous operations. No prior experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive training.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate various production machinery and equipment under supervision.
- Follow production schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Inspect products for quality defects and report any issues.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and material handling.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency.
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance as instructed.
- Lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs regularly.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and processes.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift, bend, and stoop.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Red Deer facility.

- Basic understanding of food safety principles.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (even non-food related).
- Mechanical aptitude or experience with basic hand tools.
