Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Data Analyst with a strong focus on Business Intelligence to join our growing team. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights, supporting strategic decision-making across various departments. You will design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, dashboards, and reports, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present key performance indicators and trends.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify patterns, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Marketing, Finance) to understand business requirements and translate them into technical data solutions.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Monitor data quality and troubleshoot data-related issues, implementing solutions to maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of data sources, metrics, and BI processes.
- Support ad-hoc data requests and provide analytical insights as needed.
- Stay current with industry best practices for data analysis, BI tools, and data governance.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major BI tool (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Qlik Sense).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis and data manipulation.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse Analytics).
- Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and predictive modeling.
- Experience in the BPO or customer experience industry.
