Job Description
We are seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented Transcriptionists with expertise in medical and legal terminology to join our remote team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in training and refining artificial intelligence models by accurately transcribing sensitive and complex audio data. Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio recordings accurately and efficiently, adhering to strict style guides and quality standards.
- Apply specialized knowledge of medical and legal terminology, jargon, and procedures to ensure precision.
- Review and edit transcripts for grammatical errors, punctuation, and contextual accuracy.
- Annotate and tag specific data points within transcripts for AI model training purposes.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data security protocols for all sensitive information.
- Manage workload effectively to meet daily and weekly transcription quotas and deadlines.
- Collaborate with project managers and quality assurance teams to ensure consistent output quality.
- Provide feedback on audio quality and transcription tool performance to enhance overall project efficiency.
Required Skills
- Exceptional listening skills and acute attention to detail.
- Proven experience in medical transcription (e.g., clinical notes, patient reports).
- Proven experience in legal transcription (e.g., court proceedings, depositions, legal documents).
- Proficiency in grammar, punctuation, and style guide adherence.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- High level of proficiency with transcription software and general computer skills.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Medical Transcription or Legal Transcription.
- Familiarity with AI data annotation tools and processes.
- Experience with various audio formats and challenging audio qualities.
- A degree or background in a related field (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Paralegal Studies, English).
