Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck on designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Deliver and pick up packages accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs.
- Load and unload packages safely, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers regarding route status or delivery issues.
Required Skills
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 75 lbs (with assistance for heavier items).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company procedures.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in delivery or professional driving roles.
- Familiarity with local Pasco, WA routes and surrounding areas.
