Job Description
We are looking for detail-oriented Independent Audio Transcribers to join our flexible, remote team. As an Independent Audio Transcriber, you will have the freedom to choose projects that fit your schedule and interests, converting spoken audio into accurate written text. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with excellent listening skills, strong grammar, and a commitment to accuracy, seeking a flexible work arrangement. No prior experience is required, though a keen eye for detail and a good command of English are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe diverse audio and video files into written text.
- Listen carefully to identify speakers, differentiate between accents, and capture nuances in speech.
- Apply specific style guidelines and formatting requirements for each project.
- Review and edit your own transcripts to ensure high levels of accuracy, grammar, and punctuation.
- Manage your workload and meet project deadlines efficiently.
- Maintain confidentiality of all client materials.
