Job Description
AdventHealth is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Recruiter to join our dynamic Human Resources team in Tampa, FL. This is an office-based, full-time position focused on identifying, attracting, and hiring top nursing talent to support our expanding healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the nursing profession, excellent sourcing skills, and a passion for connecting qualified professionals with meaningful career opportunities. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of patient care by ensuring we have a robust and skilled nursing workforce. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to manage the full recruitment lifecycle efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for nursing positions, from sourcing to offer extension.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified nursing candidates through various channels, including job boards, professional networks, and career events.
- Conduct in-depth interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with nursing schools, professional organizations, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring clear communication and timely updates throughout the hiring process.
- Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines, track progress, and generate reports.
- Stay informed of nursing industry trends, market conditions, and recruitment best practices.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment plans.
- Participate in recruitment events, job fairs, and open houses as a representative of AdventHealth.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a recruiter, specifically in healthcare or nursing recruitment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing roles, specialties, and healthcare environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to candidate sourcing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field.
- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
- Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Familiarity with local nursing schools and professional networks in the Tampa Bay area.
