Job Description

We are seeking a warm, organized, and professional Weekend Receptionist to be the welcoming face of The Vanderbilt Spa. In this pivotal part-time role, you will manage guest arrivals, bookings, and inquiries, ensuring every visitor enjoys a seamless and luxurious experience from the moment they step through our doors. This position is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality, wellness, and providing exceptional customer service in an upscale boutique environment. Weekend availability is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome all spa guests, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage spa appointments, including booking, confirming, and rescheduling, using our scheduling software.
  • Answer phones professionally, provide detailed information about spa services, and address guest inquiries.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate transaction records.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the spa reception area and retail display.
  • Assist with retail sales of spa products, providing recommendations as needed.
  • Coordinate with spa therapists and aestheticians to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve minor issues with grace and efficiency, escalating when necessary.
  • Perform opening and closing duties for the reception area, including cash reconciliation.
