Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Remote YouTube Metadata Clerk to join our digital content team. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient uploading, tagging, and optimization of video content across our YouTube channels. This is a critical role for ensuring our content is discoverable and reaches the widest possible audience, playing a key part in our digital strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately upload video content to designated YouTube channels.
- Apply comprehensive and relevant tags, categories, and keywords for optimal search engine optimization (SEO) on YouTube.
- Write engaging and informative video titles and descriptions that adhere to brand guidelines and platform best practices.
- Ensure all metadata (thumbnails, end screens, cards, playlists) is correctly implemented for maximum audience engagement and retention.
- Monitor and update existing metadata for improved performance and discoverability.
- Collaborate with content creators and digital strategists to understand content goals and apply appropriate metadata strategies.
- Maintain organized records of uploaded content and metadata details.
- Stay informed on YouTube's best practices, algorithm changes, and new features related to metadata and content discoverability.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with the YouTube platform and its features.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles for online content.
- Proficiency in written English with strong grammar and spelling.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote environment.

- Previous experience with content management systems or digital asset management.
- Experience with YouTube Studio or similar content creator tools.
